Checking your vote in Texas

Something you might not know is you can check to see your vote got counted in Texas.

Go to the results page

Select the election and click submit

Select the day you voted and click submit.

Find the county you voted in and click on the matching Click Here link

This downloads a CSV file of everyone that voted in that county that day. Note this file has a line for each person so can be large. The file for Travis Oct 13 for example is over 2 MB.

You can open this file in Excel or any text editor that can handle files that size (Wordpad, not Notepad for example) and search for your name to see it made it in the count. This does not of course say who you voted for.
